Barks and Bluegrass is a free event at Skiptown Dog Park and Bar, 222 Rampart Street, Charlotte, NC, on Saturday, June 17, 2023, from 2 to 5 p.m.
The event includes:
- Live music with Province of Thieves
- Vendors with dog-focused products
- Food trucks
- Raffles
- Fido’s Force Top Dog Competition
Normally you have to pay for a day pass for your dog to go to Skiptown, but the organizers have told us that at Barks + Bluegrass that’s not required.
Proceeds of the event benefit Lung Force, an initiative to raise awareness and research dollars for lung cancer.

It costs $25 to register your dog to compete for the Fidos’ Force award. Vote for your favorite dog by donating to Lung Force.
The dog who raises the most money for Lung Force will be crowned Top Dog and awarded a basket of prizes, and a session with BARKography.
