When you visit, you generally pay an hourly fee, and that goes toward caring for the cats. Time slots often sell out in advance. Some of the businesses also have separate areas to enjoy a coffee, a craft beer, or other treat, and there’s no hourly fee to relax there.

Mac Tabby Cat Cafe is Charlotte’s original cat café. It’s on the second floor of a historic building in the heart of NoDa. The cafe and cat lounge are separate.
Enjoy espresso drinks, smoothies, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, kombucha, flavored lemonades and more, as well as beer, cider, wine, and bakery goods.
Mac Tabby Cat Cafe is not wheelchair accessible, but the Concord location (below) is.
Parking can sometimes be challenging in NoDa. You can usually find street parking a little bit off the beaten path. There are pay lots or garages at 3217 Yadkin Avenue; Novel NoDa, 424 E 36th Street; Mercury NoDa, 3310 N Davidson Street; 409 E 35th Street and 436 E 36th Street. The cat cafe is two blocks from 36th Street Station of the light rail.
Reservations are recommended. The cost is $12 for a 60 minute visit with the cats. Age 7+ only, although if you have a child under age 7 you can book a Saturday “Kitty Time” or a private room. There’s no charge to visit the café, just the cat lounge. Book now.

Mac Tabby Cat Cafe Concord is housed in a historic building from 1886. The cafe and cat lounge are separate, and there’s also a 300 square foot covered porch. There’s plenty of free, convenient parking in two parking garages on either side of Market Street, as well as street parking in Downtown Concord.
