21 Dog Parks in Charlotte

Looking for a dog park near you?

A benefit to dogs and dog owners alike, dog parks are a valuable addition to any neighborhood. Dog parks provide a safe, accessible, and open environment where pups can play, exercise, and socialize while fostering a sense of community among dog owners.

Many dog parks are free or cheap to visit, which is great for dog owners wanting affordable opportunities to bond with their pups and keep them healthy. Often dog owners are excited to meet new people and share tips on dog training, other dog-friendly venues, and similar dog-related topics.

Before visiting a dog park, check the park’s website linked within the posts to familiarize yourself with their rules. Consider your pup’s temperament and comfort levels when deciding what time to visit the park. For owners unsure of how their dogs will behave off-leash around others, it’s recommended that you pick a quieter time to go: early mornings, mid-afternoons, and Monday through Friday are all great times.
